along with many other things.
Come learn how to address these concerns with your yoga practice!
Often times a healthy yoga practice or fitness routine, and a relationship with your body can help keep the above in check.
Sometimes your yoga practice or fitness routine itself can become challenging, and can contribute to the problem.
If you have the right tools and understanding of what is happening with your body and mindset, this can be avoided!
In this workshop, you will learn:
- What is it about our body types and/or daily activities that create discomfort in our neck, shoulders, and upper back?
- How you can apply this awareness to your yoga practice.
- How your neck, upper back and shoulders “work”
- Tools for prevention and addressing pain and current injuries
- Develop a short yoga practice to help with tension and discomfort in this area
- Tips on stress reduction and behavior modification
As a physical therapist and a yoga teacher,
I will approach this topic drawing from both worlds.
